I skied sugar bowl yesterday and today, and it was pretty good. Yesterday (saturday) started out mostly cloudy, with a few raindrops falling here and there, but at about noon, the clouds broke up, revealing a hot, spring day. The snow was pretty sticky, but the runs on Mt. Disney are steep enough for that not to be a big problem. Saturday night, they got about 2-4 inches, allowing for a few fresh tracks early in the morning. By afternoon, it was all tracked out and slushy, but still good skiing. Hopefully this won't be my last ski trip before 4th of July at mammoth. The coverage in tahoe is amazing, with 6-8 feet in the woods near Donner lake, and a good 12-20 feet at the resorts. Unfortunately, a lot of places are closing this and next weekend.

sorry, I only took time to take pics of that lift while riding the disney lift. When I passed Christmas tree, I was trying to keep my speed up in the sticky snow.

I took a few pics of christmas from disney...not sure if they're any good:

it sure is short, it seem hardly worth making it highspeed.

It is pretty short, but I've heard that it was painfully slow when it was a double chair.

Christmas was a FG Quad before it was upgraded.

I presume Sugar Bowl will relocate this lift some where else on the mountain.

Oops, I thought it was double. I'm not sure if its new this year, but there is a really short (2 or 3 towers) FG quad to the left of the Judah chair. Could this be the relocated christmas tree lift?
