Has any of these ever been considered? They have one, two, three, four, six, and now eight person lifts so I was curious if they ever had a five.

I was thinking about this some time ago. As far as i know there has never been a five person lift. Someone has probably done the math on an installation using a five person chair and probably the benefits of such a design weren't great enough to warrant any further development. Physically speaking there really isn't anything prohibitive about installing a five person chair, as long as it'll hang from a rope it could be designed.

In Portillo Chile they have the Va Et Vient 5 person slingshot lifts which are some sort of poma lift. They say it's as exciting going up the hill as it is going down.
