The Sterling lift at DV has lifting frames, but not the Yan Y-shaped ones. I've never seen them on any other lift. I looked on the lift installation survey for 1982, the year Sterling was built, and all the other Yan lifts had either no lifting frames, or the Y towers. Were the Sterling towers an aftermarket thing that DV installed later on, or are they a Yan design that didn't make it onto anything else? Do any other lifts have these kind of towers?

Could have been an optional '82-only item, like the similar frames on Riblets that were only found a few years in the mid-80s. R-lift is an '82 and had no lifting frames at all; we added the Y-frames later from triple-E when it was removed. S-lift is an '83 and came original with the Y-frames.
