My friend introduced me to youtube.com tonight and I must say this site is pretty sweet with all the different kinds of media that are on it. Anyway, here are some videos of chairlifts that people have made. It's just like webshots.com and of course not all the videos are of chairlifts.

There are also a few short skiing flims that poeple have put together. I must say this site is pretty sweet, but you have to have a high-speed internet connection to enjoy it. Too bad for me!

A guy jumping of a chair. However, the chair doesn't bounce like I would have thought, but then again he's near a sheave assembly.

However, I've seen a few times where people have jumped of a chair at mid span and have never seen any bounce which makes me wonder if it's a liability issue if they get injured a safty risk. I mean it's probably both, but what are the chances of the chair actually derailing, not that you should jump for no reason at all unless it's something serious.
