The English spelling (lacking a European keyboard) would have to be Mueller. A "u" (mit der Umlaut above it) is pronounced "oo". Mueller is German for "Miller".

Same type of thing applies for Stadeli I've noticed.

Yup - the "a" in Stadeli actually has an Umlaut. This changes the normal "a" sound from "ahh" (like "box") to "aah" (like cash).
