Mine are:

1. Silver Queen (Aspen) - I just love the cabin design...pity they're changing it
2. Montezuma (Keystone) - I ride it more than any other lift anywhere
3. Snowflake (Breck) - 2 words: the turn
4. Eagle Bahn (Vail) - so comfortable!
5. Galloping Goose (WP) - first lift I ever rode

1. Flight of the Canyons gondola - the drop
2. Carpenter (DV) - I've probably ridden it over 1000 times
3. McConkey's (PCMR) - completely unnecessary six pack, nice steep top section
4 (tie). Silver Strike / Sultan (DV) - comfortable, shiny and new
5. Jupiter (PCMR) - no shortage of Yan half towers

1. Panorama Gondola @ Mammoth: The views, the turn, saddle bowl, the terrain.
2. Chair 23 @ mammoth: Cool top terminal, good terrain.
3. Aerial Tram @ Heavenly: I like the initial ascent above the Lake.
4. Funitel @ squaw: Really cool.
5. Mott @ Heavenly: really peaceful ride after a steep run.

1. Meadows Quad, Boyne, MI - The first Quad in the world, 40 years old and still running
2. Original Lionshead Gondola, Vail, CO - A classic part of ski history (removed in 90's)
3. The tram, Snowbird, UT - 3k vert with some of the best snow and steeps anywhere.
4. High Noon, Vail, CO - Serves runs in two of the best bowls in the world
5. Highline, Vail, CO - One of a shrinking number of the classic riblet lifts that made skiing in the USA what it is today.

1: Giant Steps- A great Classic Riblet, one of the last of that era in Colorado.
2: Lower Beaver Creek Express- the first hill climb and drop.
3: The old Quicksilver- The Original
4: Eagle Bahn- Comfort
5: Imperial Express- Not always the best snow, and always busy but hike 100 yards and you cant beat the view.
6: Lone Peak Tram(sory I couldn't get it down to just 5)- Incredible extreme skiing, Great views.

In no particular order:

1. Gold Hill - Telluride
2. Tram - Jackson
3. 4Runner - Stowe
4. Tram - Snowbird
5. KT22 - Squaw

My main criteria are lift speed/vertical and lift slope angle (steep, fast lifts) because of the type of terrain they serve.

I haven't had the opportunity to ride Strawberry Xpress at Snowbasin or Deep Temerity at Aspen Highlands yet but I suspect they might make "The List".

1. Gold Hill/Prospect Lifts-Telluride Colorado
2. Storm Peak- Steamboat Colorado
3. Summit X- Bachelor Oregon
4. Top of the World- Lake Louise Alberta
5. Santiago- Keystone

1. Skyline Express- Vail Just really awesome views
2. Eagle Bahn Gondola- Vail Really comfortable
3. Snow Flake- Breckenridge Fun to ride
4. Mercury Superchair- Breckenridge sweet runs!
5. C chair- Breckenridge Calm, old, long, comfortable!

Dang, this is a bit of a tough one, so here is my preliminary list:

1. Chair 10 - Kirkwood, access to almost the whole mountain and one of my favorite loops
2. KT-22 - Squaw, haven't ridden it much, but on a not very good powder day I had a blast
3. Northwest Express - Mt Bachelor, long and a lot of good runs and great views of the sisters
4. 23 - Mammoth, epic runs, views and the coolest lift at mammoth
5. J7 - June Mtn, the nicest groomed runs, about a mile long and fast. Also the best views in the state with the Ansel Adams wilderness.

1. North Star Express (it is the only pure leitner i have ridden) Kimberley
2. Harmony Express (lots of options from this lift) Whistler
3. Crystal Chair (probably the least busy runs on Blackcomb
4. Red Skyride Grouse
5. Orange Chair (cause its old and its M-L) Whistler

1. Easter Chair at Kimberley (diesel)
2. Crystal Chair Blackcomb
3. Mystery Chair at Seymour
4. Blackcomb Gondola (good times in that haha)
5. Maverick T-bar Kimberley

1. Adiroundack Express @ gore mountain- von roll high speed triple, realy cool old lift
2. SlideBrook express-very long, fast and a awsome ride
3. southridge triple-i love the turn
4. Topridge triple@ gore mountain-most comfortable lift i have ever ridden, alwayse in the sun
5.Green Mountain flyer- fast and comfortable, i like the look of it too

1. KT-22 Squaw. 1st lift I ever rode that sketched me out.

2. Hemlock Lift- Boyne Mt. Original terminals from 1st lift at Sun Valley

3. K1 Gondola- Killington. What a ride. (Snowdon Triple also a fav there. Once triggered a prox switch by accident unloading, was down for 10+ min)

4. Funitel- Squaw. Amazing lift. Awsome motor room. Friendly employees let me tour

5. The "Gap" chair- Whitecap WI. A lift you can ride up two different mountains sides on or cross the "GAP" on one of its carinval colored chairs.

6. I know only five, but 6. a Double-double Borvig Quad like at Trollhaugen WI. Heavy and light side on one side of cross arm, allowing another lift on the other side.

No particular order:
-Summit X- Bachelor (Views aplenty, plus the old triple version was one of my first high-speed lifts)
-Chair 2- Alpental (Terrain, views, my dad helped build it)
-Harmony- Whistler (terrain)
Chair 6- Crystal (WA) (views, terrain, strange Riblet/Hall mix)
Chair 6- Baker (the old Riblet one since I haven't ridden the new CTEC yet; some of the best round-trip skiing in Washington)

1.) Slide Brook Express - Sugarbush, VT - The longest HSQ in the world (and supposedly the fastest), what more would you want? Like the trailmap says, "A one of a kind ride in either direction."
2.) Snowflake Lift - Breckenridge, CO - There's a midstation and a turn all within the middle 700 feet of the lift. That's just awesome!
3.) Southridge Triple - Killington, VT - Never ridden it, but fascinated by it just the same.
4.) Burke Mountain POMA - Burke Mountain, VT - This thing was built in 1956 and still delivers you 1000 feet of vertical in a distance of 3000 feet, in under 4 minutes. That thing moves, and the 2 to 3 feet of air when you load the lift is an excellent bonus.
5.) Mad River Glen Single Chair - Mad River Glen, VT - The lift currently is still diesel powered, and it's MRG's summit lift. It's great to basically have the trail to yourself on a weekend day.

1. Challenger at Mary Jane (Winter Park) Direct Access to world class bumps classic, fast-running, Heron double.
2. Deep Temerity (Aspen Highlands) One of the best improvements at Aspen Highlands in a long time.
3. John Paul Express (Snowbasin) Great vertical, vast terrain choice
4. Bar UE (Steamboat)- A good old Yan double, built the same year I learned to ski. Comes in handy to do laps in the best of the Champagne powder.
5. Super Bee (Copper Mtn) - Love the convenience, definately the best thing to happen to Copper in a long time.

Speaking of Deep Temerity, anyone have pictures? I've read that it is one of the steepest lifts
