Here was once the World's fastest chairlift at Sugarbush. I thought you guys might like to read it.

The TGV and the Expo (Tremblant) are ex-aequo in the rank with this chairlift. They all go at the same speed.

Man, I was there on Monday. I could't not go on Mt. Ellen because the Slide Brook Express (Doppelmayr) was closed.

Dr, Frankeinstein is right. Those 2 hsq's are probably the fastest that I rode in my skiing history.

i rode stowe's poma gondola the year it opened...they had on their trail map, the world's fastest!

the old PHB/Hall gondola was cool too...they turned its lower station into a lodge

Doesn't Stratton's gondi run at 1200 FPM?

SAM says that the lift only runs at 5.08 m/s.

I must be thinking of Stowe's, then- 5.08 m/s = 1000 FPM.

Yep, stowe's runs at 1100 FPM.
