A malfunction on the Rotadl chairlift, on the Tirol's Stubai Glacier, left one passenger with a broken leg and several others injured when one of the 4-seater gondolas slid back and struck the next one, around 150 passengers were on the chairlift at the time, 3 helicopters were deployed to complete their rescue from the lift which climbs to a height of 3,000m.

I wonder if the detachable grip wasn't rebuilt correctly or if something else caused this accident to occur?
