Blackcomb will be open November 5th & 6th for a "sneak peek" weekend. It should be open full time on the 11th, followed by Whistler on American Thanksgiving weekend. :thumbsup:

Nice to have early snow for a change.

Snow Valley in Edmonton opens on November the 4th, which i beleive is the first opening for the season in Canada, or at least Alberta. Snow Valley has a long standing tradition of being one of if not the first hill open in Canada.

I guess an important note is that all of the snow they have is man-made. They've been making snow for two weeks now though not a single flake of natural snow has fallen yet in the city.
