I've been absent from the forum this past week due to overtime and general tiredness. This all stems from our contour modifications on the Flyer. Both chains have been removed, and the bottom turnaround is up and almost done. The top section should be finished in the next day or so. There's something satisfying about putting an obsolete piece of equipment in the scrap bin  so that's where the chains are now. Once the mechanical parts are done, the electricians will be wiring in the spacing clutches and we should be back up and running.

Hey John,

That looks really good. Did you get any pics of the install process?

Looks really nice with the shiny pulleys and gears. I am also curious about the installation.

I thought the whole thing might have fell down when the coffee mug got moved between shot 1 and 2. Guess I would've been wrong about the structural importance of the coffee mug ;-)

Looks nice, you must be happy.
Is the Flyer going to be doing 90 degree loading this year, then?
My life or my chocolate: Give me a minute, I'm thinking.

Isn't it odd that "politics" is made up of the word "poli" meaning many, and "tics" meaning blood-sucking creatures?

Yeah, I think you've got one like it on Peak 8 somewhere. The zones were added in '99 when Poma upgraded the control logic and such.

Ski9600- the coffee mug wasn't neccesary for structural support but it certainly held the fuel for the project. I thought I drank a lot of coffee but the Poma guys had me beat.
