According to Northstar's website the Pioneer Chair is scheduled to be realigned and upgraded this summer. Does anyone know what they are replacing it with? Express Quad I would think.

"This summer, the resort is planning to replace and reroute the Pioneer Chairlift and widen runs on the west side of the mountain, which will open a slew of intermediate runs for skiers and riders to enjoy. This lift is slated to be complete by the 2005/06 winter season. The resort also plans to add and/or replace five more chairlifts before the mountain-improvements plan is complete within the next three to five years."

Pioneer will be replaced with a 6-pack. They will have the ability to also run 8 passenger cabins so that non-skiers can access the new restaurant.
The old Sultan will be installed so that a real estate development can more easily access Northstar's terrain.
