Attached are images of the Elk Quad which was installed circa 1990. This is a Doppelmayr fix grip lift. This chair in the main access to the old side of the mountain and replaced both the Griz double chair and Elk T-bar. I have images of both the return and drive stations. The cool thing about this lift is the vault machine room. Also this lift can run at full speed with the APU (2.3m/s). Also check out the cool control panel image. Everything is LED which looks sort of cool. You don't see anything like that anymore on a new lift.
