Now THERE'S a vehicle worthy of lift maintenance departments! About 120 uphill - with passenger. Hell, there's even a cargo deck. Rotax: read it and weep.

Monster Ride!

Did you diamond-plate the drivers' seat so he wouldn't take little bites out of the upholstery during acceleration runs?

I thought you said that Chryslers make you itch...

Here's an interesting story about a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere that has been buried for 50 years in an underground vault for a contest in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Whoever could guess the closest to Tulsa's population in 2007 would win the car along with a $100 savings account. However, moisture got to the car as it sat in this underground vault and the car was completely destroyed when it was unearthed today.

1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z-71 4X4 Ext Cab- Has 116,000 miles, I got it with 76,000 as a lease return (BIG MISTAKE) The engine is great, tough and will not die, I roasted the rear end posi though at around 89,000, (what can I say, that 5.3L V-8 can spin those tires well even when I don't want them to spin!) $1300 later with a older generation new Posi in, it works well. Blew out the front speakers playing a soundtrack, (rears still work fine though!) Transmission slips out of OD from time to time, most common when very hot outside, and Transfer Case needs a bit of work. I came to find out AFTER I got her that she was involved in a police high speed chase at one time after being stolen, and that the previous owner DID NOT do any maintenance on it other then an oil change every 15,000 miles or so. The dealer I got it from did a good job makeing it look and run good, but damn I really screwed the pooch on this one. Thing is, I love this truck. I'll probably get rid of her this year or next, and if I can afford, will upgrade to a newer Silverado/Sierra.

1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee V-8 4X4- Has 144,000 miles, engine runs great, shifts good, outside body has severe paint fade, but no HUGE dings or dents, at least not yet. I got this vehicle from my brother. Very comfty plush leather seats, rattles a bit, (typical Jeep) and it leaked a bunch of oil from various points (also typical Jeep) but after $1300 (new tires included in that) she's running just fine. May need a new Air Conditioning canister as the old one is rusting through me thinks. I love Jeeps. Any of you who have had one know what I am talking about, it's a Jeep thing afterall. I've had two prior Jeeps, an 89 Wrangler and 89 Cherokee, both served me very well.

I drove this more than my own car

'06 International 4300 24' stakebed
466 cu. in. inline 6 turbo diesel
210 hp, 520 ft lbs torque
5-speed auto overdrive
air brakes

oh yeah...and an air horn!

It's what we use in raft rentals to haul the rafts back to the base.

The car I've had since finishing high school (1988) is an '87 Chevy Cavalier ragtop. 213,000 miles on the original engine and still running strong!

Last week I found a International school bus on eBay for $1,000. The only problem would be shipping it.

I've owned 3 Beetles, one Van and one Campmobile (all 1960-1970 rigs). VW's are fun, easy to work on and did I say fun! I also owned a couple of Corvairs, a 1962 Monza convertable and a 1963 Spyder Convertable. Now that I'm married with kids the only toy I have is a Russian motorcycle/sidecar rig.
