I'm strongly considering replacing my 2000 Isuzu Rodeo with a Subaru Impreza or Outback. Leaning toward the Outback. Ready for a little better gas mileage and my Rodeo is getting tired although it has been an excellent vehicle and has transported me from city to mountains and back on many powder days for 12 years. I still have an older F-150 in case the snow gets super deep or I have to haul something or as a back-up vehicle but I have definately found out where people get all those ideas for FORD as an acronym, especially Fix Or Repair Daily! Otherwise a great truck when it is running correctly and not leaking anything underneath. It is a little gas-thirsty also other than that it is great, really.

I replaced the Rodeo with a 2012 Subaru Outback. I'm sure I will enjoy the break at the gas pumps, although I did like my payments on the Rodeo especially from 2006 up to last Friday.

That's a nice-looking truck and trailer. Are you going to be working at Snowmass again this coming season?

Nope not this winter. I love the truck and camper. Combine LBS of both is 30,000lbs. It's a heavy sucker rolling down the road!

Nice radar dome, looks just like an A/C unit.
Any inside pics? I'd like to see the periscope and the countermeasures panel.
Does refueling involve DOE supervision?

Quoting from memory a Simpsons episode, when they try to buy a camper not much different than this:

"Does it have its own satellite dish?"
"It has its own satellite, VanStar 1."

Hey, Kicking Horse, enjoy your vehicles and don't pay attention to us, we're harmless

With our fingers in the tramway pie, I doubt that we are.

WIsh I would of saw this before hauling it back up to storage. next time I'm up there I will snap some pics. It does indeed have a A/c Unit, Has a 7000 watt GenSet... 50 gallon fueling station for the toys...

100gallon water and 50 gallon sewer tank... Have yet to fill the Sewer tank. Done 4 x 1 week trips in it so far.

Was planning on going out Labor day weekend but I have to pack up house. I'm moving 40 miles north of where I live now.

It has some kind of Sat system however I have yet to "mess" with it. I installed a computer and a 27in led for movies / tv watching. (have 3tb of shows / movies).

The Trailer has Hyd Landing gear, NO manual cranking. This was a must have... :)

I should post a picture of all 3 of my trucks and my mom's new Chevy Tahoe Hybrid.
