Cool, never seen a gondola like that. What make is the one in the foreground?

It's a Bell Wallmansberger bicable gondola. The Banff gondola was very similar to this one before it was retrofited by Garaventa.

This picture has been on the forum before and someone has asked the exact same question. The Bicable gondola was located at mammoth and removed in 1998 and replaced with the current Doppelmayr monocable climax gondola. The lift to the left is actually the old riblet chair 3. The angle of the picture makes in hard to tell what the lift is.

Check out that cornice in Christian's first picture. Thars insane. Anyways everyone has it right. The new chair 3 runs a line slightly to the right and has 90 degree unloading. The old vault drive terminal is still visible as you line up for the new chair. They also seemed to have blasted a bit off of the top are of 3 because now there are rocks to your right as you unload the chair. Also the old upper booth is still used I believe by the ski patrol.
