I was up at Mt. Waterman and Kratka Ridge ski areas in Southern California last weekend. Both areas haven't been open in a few years, although one of Waterman's lifts has been run by the ski patrol and area owners on a regular basis on a "private" basis.

At any rate, I got some pictures of Chair 1 at Waterman and the remnants of the single chair at Kratka (the bottom terminal was destroyed in a suspicious fire a few years ago, but the rest of the lift is still there with chairs on the rope).

Would anyone be interested in seeing the pics? If so, what's the best way to upload my images? Is there a file size I should keep them to (they were taken with an 8 megapixel camera).

Thanks,
Robert

If you want to attach images to posts then where it says file attachments, click browse, find the file and open it, then click add this attachment. you can add multiple. you may want to downsize them so that people with slower internet connections can view them faster.

If you want to see them on the site then email them to bill or cameron (skibachelor).

BTW if you decide to put them on the forum then put them under the images forum instead of the general discussion forum.

I would love to see the pictures that you took and you can send your high resolution photos to me, but if you can send them to my AOL account, that would be great (check my profile). My Skilifts.org one probably doesn't have enough space for all of the ones that you took.

I am in the process of making them a bit smaller, and then I'll post them. :)

Look for them sometime tomorrow.

Theres a couple good batch image programs for resizing images quick to save time. I use one for my site (BIMP 1.6) and it works good for that stuff.
