We got 4 feet of snow this weekend and another 2 or 3 by wednesday morning. Here in the bay area its 60s with rain. There was a little tornado up in san francisco yesterday and tommorow is supposed to feature thunder storms (slightly rare over here).

The temperatures have dropped signifiacantly over the past few weeks. We went from a considerable snowpack to heavy melting and rain which left most of the snow melted, then just this week we've got 10 cm of new stuff and it's still coming down. Though at times it's freezing drizzle the snow is nice. And since we've gone from the prospect of not skiing to skiing in a few weeks everyone is happy.
