Lucky you- it was -18 C at my house this morning, and -22 at the top of the Flyer. Apparently a cold wave is hitting much of the continent- even normally warm places like Georgia and Alabama are getting sleet and snow.

its been two days where the temperatures have not cracked -30°C and close to 4 days where the wind chill has been below -30°C. this is so cold that skin freezes in less than a minute and cars stall everywhere. there are literally cars abandoned on almost every majour route.

It was 34 degrees in Tahoe when I was there. It is 70 degrees here.

It was a nice cool 65F here today. Gotta love the weather in LA. I wish we could have LA's topography in Portland. 9000' mtns less than 1hr from downtown. That would be really sweet - they could build a tram from 2000' up to good skiing at around 4000'

Here it's a brisk -25c (-13f)...  It's too cold.

Well it was 60 degrees warmer today, than when I first started this thread :) +35c at least here today... Which is a far cry from when I was scraping my windshield last wednesday, when it was 0c outside.

It's been a really odd spring here in edmonton. The temperature has hovered in the teens since late march and aside from one day of 28 and afew warmer and cooler day the weather really hasn't changed. In my opinion it's starting to look like vancouver after the weeks of perpetual sun and rain we've had.

The Northwest has been having a heat wave, it apears. In Enumclaw it has been around +30 for several days, and if you've got +35 in Rossland, it's stretching across the mountains as well. We've got just the opposite here in the Cloud City; this morning it was -1 and raining, with snow sticking just above town. Of course, when the sun comes out, the temp jumps to +20. Go figure. I just want a week of sun and +25- that would be just about perfect.

It's been sunny for about a week here - but today was the hottest. The weather has been funny here too - March was beautiful and sunny, while Mid April - Mid June it was rainy and downright cold.

We've been around 80 since mid-may or so when it got up to 105 F. Pretty nice, but still a bit warmer than i would prefer.
