What is your favorite ski resort that youve skied at?

Zermatt or Kitzbuhel. Mostly for size and terrain variety, and very few people mostly because they dwarf all the resorts in North America.

Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.

"You could say that a mountain is alot like a woman, once you think you know every inch of her and you're about to dip your skis into some soft, deep powder...Bam, you've got two broken legs, cracked ribs and you pay your $20 just to let her punch your lift ticket all over again"

Any place that I can click on the planks and go down the hill would be a favorite for me. I'm happy pretty much everywhere. So far I've only skied a handfull of eastern ski areas (about 30), but I will be making the trek west in January to Telluride to "see what all this western buzz is about."

I like Breckenridge, Copper, and Winter Park.

I've never really been to a place skiing where it hasn't been fun at all. Some places are better than others. I've only skied in the West

Well lets just say I didn't really enjoy Bear Valley much (it was a crappy day) and with so many awesome days its a tough choice. All mountains have their perks. Mammoth is huge but its crowded so if you play it right its epic. Same situation with Squaw Valley. I say Kirkwood right now because I am getting to know the place pretty well and if you do it right it offers the most fun terrain I've had. The key there is do not limit yourself to what you can get to easily. If you see something that looks fun down the ridge go do it. Such a simple strategy. Bachelor is also one hell of a mountain. I sure like their long runs and light(er) snow

Stateside I would have to say the Aspen resorts, Telluride, Steambat and Big Sky. I do not like the Truck Stop resorts (ie Breck and Keystone), Too many :censored2: people.

Exactly

all of your reasons are summed up in that picture:

Climax, an aweseome run, high speed gondola to the top, powder day, blue skies!

1 Alta
2 Snowbird
3 Alpental
4 Brigder Bowl
5 Jackson Hole

Note all are interchangable except Alta and really I've never found a ski resort I didn't like some part of.

Though I have recently moved to Breck for variety, my favorite mountain is and probably always will be Cannon in NH. I grew up there and it cannot be replaced.

Mad River Glen, VT. Like the bumper stickers say, "Mad River Glen Ski it if you can!" Classic New England skiing at it's best, with a single chair as the summit lift, a little over 15% snowmaking coverage, and some of the gnarliest trails in the east, it's definitely my favorite. Though, I still like my home stomping grounds, Mt Sunapee, too, and I could probably add Sugarbush to the list for the Slide Brook Express. Every time I ride that thing I'm awestruck by it.

Monarch for snow, Bachelor for intelligent mountain layout, Crystal (WA) because I grew up there, Baker for insane amounts of snow which sticks to everything allowing skiing on runs that would otherwise be cliffs, Whistler/Blackcomb for sheer size and variety (as well as good on-mountain food).
