While I was out for the Canada day weekend in Invermere B.C, I went up to Panorama and took a few pics. Here is the Village Gondola, a 1999 pulse lift by Doppelmayr.

Does anyone know when Panarama changed the name of the old HSQ from Quadzilla to Mile 1?

Yea, that's a good question. Frankly, I think Quadzilla is a better name than Mile 1.

It's been at least 7 or 8 years since that name. I was up there about that long ago and it was still called mile 1

Yeah I believe it was Feb 96, it was back when Intrawest bought the resort. I see now that they gave her a good coat of gray paint opposed to the green it once was.
