We're not fortunate enough to have a B&M here in Colorado, and at this rate, we never will. The only good news is that 8 hours away, Worlds of Fun is installing Patriot for next season.

I will make my way to Magic Mountain next year though once their new prone is opened (and if it materializes). Superman back east is a fun ride, a lot better than the P.O.S. here at elitches.

Is X still operating at all at Magic Mountain? I went there hoping to ride X the year it was built, but Six Flags closed it two weeks prior because of stress cracks in the trains.

X is running consistently w/ 2 train operation daily except Wednesdays. They use Wednesday as a maintenance day.

Supposedly a coaster similiar to X is going to open in Japan next year, but rather than using 4 rails it is only going to use 3. Its being designed by S&S which bought Arrow, the original builder of X.
