So this is a topic on Roller Coasters.

While i was @ Six Flags EG today i took some pics. The Flying Coaster Suffered a brake failure in one of the brake runs. (last Brake run before terminal) and they had to replace one of the brake assemblys.

(start @ the bottom and come back up on pic order)

Anyway let's start with the Mind Easer

Then we have the Halfpipe

after that we have the Rainbow. Which there are ONLY a few left in the world.

Then we have Shake Rattle and Roll (aka the Shaker)

Next up is the wave from the ShitWreck Falls

Next up is the Twister 2 Woodie (i have logged over 2,000 rides on it in the last 3 years) (i have more pics of twister 2 but i need to edit them so.. i will put them up later)

Next up is a Single Shot of The SideWinder

the last pic is of the flying Coaster When a tech was checking out the Brake Issue.

I have more pics but i need to edit them.

Not a roller coaster but yesterday a little four-year-old boy died on an Epcot ride at Disney World. Big news here, anyone else hear about it?

Yeah, I heard something about it. They were saying that they were performing an autopsy on him, but preliminary reports say that the ride may not have had anything to do with his death.
Chairlift n. A transportation system found at most ski areas in which a series of chairs suspended from a cable rapidly conveys anywhere from one to eight skiers from the front of one line to the back of another.

I read about that in the news this morning. Sad story, its a bummer to hear about children dieing.

As for roller coasters, I haven't been on too many, just a few at the Busch Gardens in Florida, adn Disney back in 1988, then a few at LaRonde in Montreal 2 years ago. I'm heading to Las Vegas on a road trip with my brother at the end of the month though, and we're staying at the Stratosphere, so i'm going to go on their roller coaster at the top of their building.. should be interesting being that high in the air, and on a roller coaster!!:) I can't wait :)

I saw this on a roller coaster forum last night. Everyone was saying that the mother is @ fualt for taking a 4 year old on that ride.

I don't really think the mother is @ Fault @ this time based on the info that i have.

And your info is?

Disney has had a pretty safe ride history rate, but I must admit that it has start to go downhill in the last few years. However, if there were problems found with the ride, than Disney shouldn't be held responsible if everything was found to be safe in the past. What do you expect to experience when you get on a ride that warns that you will experience a high gravity forces, euphoria?

I have heard about it, it was on the Mission: Space ride. I have heard that he passed out while riding, possibly due to the g-force. In any case, based on this scenario the mother isn't to blame. From the source I heard, Disney World has height requirements and is thinking about adding age requirements after this incident.

As for roller coasters, they aren't for me.

of all roller coasters to highlight in a post, you chose an SLC? come on now, that is the most cookie cutter coaster out there, right next to the boomerang coaster.

go for a classic, go over to lakeside and take some snapshots of the cyclone.

I am hoping to make my way out to glenwood caverns next weekend to try out the new alpine coaster they put in.

I love that ride. My favorite coaster is Top Gun at Great America, and I loved Stealth, but they took it out and moved it to North Carolina. :censored2:

Just got back from MarineLand actually! Love that park, totally relaxing and no lines, no crowds.

I do videos of theme park rides, you can check out a few of them on my webpage.

My favorite is the Giant Dipper in Santa Cruz. Top Gun is fun but its a bit short and long lines. Stealth was fun but boy did it get rough and the lines long. I probably won't go back to PGA untill they put in a new coaster. A water park won't get me to pay the $30 or whatever it costs now.

The water park does look pretty lame. The day we went, it was a little cold and nothing over there was open. Giant dipper is great, especially when you ride it at night. Too bad santa cruz is a lot further down than PGA.

Six Flags over Georgia, they've got some good ones there. I can't think of the names. A lot of the Six Flags have the same rides

Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando, there's the Hulk (huge line, have to be there early or really late) but there's one in the back called the Dueling Dragons (actually two) . There's two mirror-image tracks that come really close to hitting each other at one spot (the track is above and your feet hang down). Hardly anyone rides it, I don't know why. You can do laps on it without getting off sometimes

Six Flags can have some pretty nice roller coasters. I live in New England, so naturally I go to Six Flags New England. Superman ROS is a really good ride, I can't get enough of it. The only roller coaster there I dont like is The Mind Eraser. After a near death experience and huge headache, that ride should be dismantled and sold for scraps.

yeah basically the restraint bar didnt go down, so the ride started going up the lift hill. Still had no restraint bar. I kept on trying to click it down. Finally like halfway up it worked. Its happened a bunch of other times too. I think what happened though is something got jammed and the computer or whatever thought it was in.
