Ski Hesperus second lift

Here are some pictures from the road of the second lift Ski Hesperus plans to install. It is a Riblet from Aspen Highlands. Sorry I couldn't get closer, there were some farmers watching me on the other property.

since this is a relocation, they will have to bring the lift up to current codes, right? what sort of work/parts would that require the old riblet?

If I am not mistaken this chair is fairly rescent, I think it was the last riblet installed at Aspen Highlands so that would make it mid 80's? If so there shouldn't be too much in the way of upgrades needed would there?

Usually upgrades are more electrical than mechanical. Riblet's mechanical design hasn't changed a great deal since way back in the day, so there isn't much to do there.

Which lift was this one when it was at the Highlands?

Don't things like permanent lifting frames have the be added to the towers? Or is that just here.

It was the bunny lift at the base, allong the side of the run smuggler.
