I was up at abasin today and the snow was still good. All of the expert stuff was closed, but there was still some fun to be had. Pali was totally bare from the avalanche.

It's in Keystone, Colorado, just above Keystone Resort about 3 miles or so, maybe a little more.

Looks like tahoe and mammoth froze over night. Should help mammoth out if they freeze for the next week or so. I really want to get up there on the 4th.

The NWS is predicting lows around 37-44 for the next few days in town, so the upper mountain should freeze. I have been looking at the tioga pass plowing page, and the snow depth posted went from 15 feet to 5 feet a few days ago. I'm not sure if its been freezing up there, but thats a big drop.

Yeah - I just checked their page, it doesn't look very good. Part of me wishes they'd hurry up and close so it'd at least seem like next winter season is coming sooner...

Snowbird is going to be open till the fourth they are saying with a possibility of a little extra depending. They still have a 80 inch plus base in some areas so we are quite done yet here in SLC!

A-Basin closes today. I was hoping to get one more day in but today's my Monday so I guess that's it. There's still lines on Independence Pass, though, doing the car-shuttle thing, so maybe I'll go down there. It's been snowing off and on for the last two days- maybe even fresh turns...
