I hope the members of this forum don't litter, but here's a visual of what happens when one does. These were taken last week at the bottom of the Flyer.

wow. sad. When I walked up part of Blackcomb a couple years ago there was that much litter all over the slopes. If everyone wasnt lazy think how nice the world would be. I wouldnt litter, there is no reason to litter.

I only litter if i'm in a real bad mood and i don't feel like dealing with my trash. But that is almost never.

I feel there is no reason to justify littering. How hard is it to find a trash can?

Most of the stuff is paper products like maps, brochures, receipts, and such. That's what bothers me; like WBSKI said, put it in your pocket until the next trash can. We've got them at the top of every lift, or you could give it to thte operator and he or she could put it in the lift shack can. Either way, there's no excuse. I've got to pick all that crap up once the snow melts, and trust me I'm not looking forward to it.

John, get a high powered shop vaccum and suck all that stuff up. It would save you a lot of time and then you can just throw the other stuff away. You should do it on a nice sunny day since that would be a lot easier trying to pick that stuff up.

But it's probably a lot easier than picking up cig butts.

Wow - people there are dirty! We have almost no trash around the lifts - there's some tissue between twrs 2-4 of most of our lifts, but that''s it!! Summer is when people litter beer cans & such, and vandalism seems to be on the rise.

Our shop vacs can barely pick up dry paper  so it's all hand work. As for cigarette butts, for some reason people stick them under the seat pads and son't throw them on the ground. Go figure.

I hardly saw any garbage at Manning Park earlier this year. Seymour and Cypress are great in summer too. Go them.
