It's coming along. The last time I was there about a week and a half ago the outside of the building was nearing completion. It's supposed to be done in August, but I still think that they will be working on it once students start moving in.

I'm back at it on August 28th. I still wish it would get here and go by, I want winter and school starting is a big hurdle to overcome before the ski season.

Summer always goes by too fast, but this fall I have a few things to look forward to at school. Over columbus day, we are going to yosemite and climbing half dome, and of course, ski season is coming

I start August 24th. Summer seemed to go by particularly fast this year. But the skiing will be nice!

I got out of school in June of '79 and then again in May of '83.
I am a teacher now. Last year I got out on June 16th, had surgery on the 17th. The students got out the 24th.
I go back on Aug.23 and the students go back on Aug. 30
One of our local schools is talking about going to longer days for a four day week because of the cost of fuel for transportation and heating costs here in the Northeast. I wish my school would do that. I'd have every Friday off to ski.

Time to revive this thread....
I get out of school tomorrow. I just have to take a Biology final, then I'm finished.
NOw, if only we could switch so that we have 3 months off in the winter, I'd be all set.

that sucks, when do you start back up?
We start in the 2nd or 3rd week of august, so we get out really early.

Today is my last full day. If a senior does not have to take exams then this is the last day period. However, I have to take two out of seven so I will have to go to school fro a couple of partial days. Either way, I graduate on june 4th and then I go to visit gogebic on june 12th.
