There's a new trail map on Tamarack's website now showing the proposed lifts and new runs, but it's kind of different than the master plan that Sam posted. From looking at it, I'm not sure if Tamarack is going to add more runs off some of the lifts or what. The Canoe Express seems kind of pointless to me, but then if you look at the Overlook Express, it doesn't have any runs off of it. It just dumps you off in the woods and then you ski through the trees.

There aren't all that many marked trails there, hopefully they'll cut a few off the new lifts

Yea they really dont have a lot of runs. It can be fun that way with a bunch of glades and stuff. I wonder what kind of boundry policy they will have because the North and South bowls look like they could be pretty fun.

Looks to me like the Canoe Express would be to enable skiers to do laps in that bowl area. As of now, you'd have to go all the way to the bottom and take two lifts to get back up there. Also provides access to South Bowl backcountry area - who knows if they'll try to expand that direction some day.

I love the Overlook Express idea of no runs cut - just glade skiing through the steep trees. Me likey!
