Ususaly more advanced skiers ride the summit express especially since it runs faster and Keystone wanted more capacity out of the river run base and usualy the majority of passengers on the gondola seem to be foot passengers and skiers who get cold easily. Personaly I don't ride the gondola unless I'm going to eat at the restruants up top and am not skiing back down because it takes much longer to get up plus the last few times I have been to keystone there seems to have been fewer cabins then there were before the summit express went in so the lines are really long at the gondola.

Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.
"You could say that a mountain is alot like a woman, once you think you know every inch of her and you're about to dip your skis into some soft, deep powder...Bam, you've got two broken legs, cracked ribs and you pay your $20 just to let her punch your lift ticket all over again"
