I think I bought the ticket $8 all day (1976). (Brighton in 1974, I bought the ticket $3.00, today it cost $58).

Yes Tomahawk changed name to Golden Eagle. It is double fixed grip lift. I dont know if it is same lift or recplace lift. I will go up and look at it. I haven't been there since four years ago, and I rode the gondola, and I missed to see Golden Eagle.

I totally forgot how the base of Park West used to be. I remember the SLI lift. Used to have some great summer concerts at Park West, and the SLI lift was about as far right as you could get and still see the stage. The Canyons should bring concerts back because they would pack the place. They also had a summer ride, kind of like the new coaster at Park City. I don’t think it lasted more then a couple of years, but I guess they were trying to complete with the alpine slide at Park City.

Yep there were some great concerts there. Had a seasons pass for the old Park West for the season of 89-90. It cost $199. Slaughterhouse was a great lift. North facing with good snow. If I recall correctly this ski area has had more owners than I have underwear. One of the most notable was a group with ties to the godfather type folks. Anyway it was a decent ski hill but, not the best, especially considering the competion in the big and little cottonwood canyons. Good place to go and not be crowded on a pow day. Had to call the report though. When PW had 2 new Alta had 10. Every once in a while they got a good dump. Have not been there since. Sort of sounds like wine tasting and massages take a back seat to any real skiing that happens there now. To bad ASC couldn't keep things real. But then Otten is still a free man. Skilling from ENRON is in prison. And Ken Lay supposedly died in snowmass.
