Another late-night project... would this be considered a service project under Rod or is it still tasked to the install guys?

Sorry for the late reply, John - I missed this. The new tower work was done by Installations as they were still there working on the gondola. (Thank God!)

We finally have some images of new lifts at snowmass thanks to http://www.coloradoskihistory.com! That new pulse gondola is something else. The vault drive on it is similar to the ones usually seen on older riblets. The last thing that needs to be solved in what has changed on burlingame. We have yet to get confirmation on what the top terminal is like.

Burlingame used to be a vault drive riblet, it was shortened about 1/4 of the line down from its old summit. it now sports a new leitner-poma alpha drive:

also, the last picture posted above with the new 6-pack over the building is the additional tower they had to install.

Yea, that is what I wanted to know. the new drive is probably off of the old fanny hill lift. the thing is that the alpha is a drive tension terminal. and the old lift had bottom tensioning. so did they replace or modify the bottom or did they just take the tensioning off the top?
