Mt. Bachelor is like one of the only ski areas that I have seen them. However, the only resort you will find headrests on is at Blackcomb, B.C. They are so annoying if you have a helment on, it sucks in my opinion.

Yea, those armrests are interesting. Good for some things.......but bad for others. Cools with 4 people, keeps you in your place. The only other lift is Dipper Express at Heavenly which is an older 80s doppelmayr.

They have those armrests on one (maybe two) lifts at Big White.

they are on the HSQ at marmot too either they are an old feature or an option because the new quads don't seem to have them as much anymore

They used to be an option but I don't think many people bought them. We had them on Chair 7 at Baker (1990 Riblet fixed quad) but they were such a loading inconvenience that we took them off. People would sit on them. :stretcher:

On low capacity days when less than 4 people are loading the chair it can be an inconvience. like for 3 people who would usually space them selves out equaly have to sit 2 and 1. I know there are a few times i have sit on the handrest and hurt my tailbone!

That would definetly cause some problems. Like edmontonguy said, if there are less than 4 people, you have to sit in exactly the right spot to avoid getting a metal bar up your @ss, and you have to sit 2 and 1 if there's 3 people, which would cause the chair to be unbalanced and you get to ride all the way up tilted to one side, and one heck of a jolt in the top terminal
