I've been meaning to get over to my "home hill", Chicopee, during daylight hours for a while. I never seem to get over there in time after work to capture any decent daytime photos of the lifts.

There are 4 chairs and 2 carpets. The two newest chairs are by Poma, but I have no idea who built the two older lifts. I'm sure someone will recognize them instantly and know, though, so if you do, give a holla!

To help you get your bearings, here's a Trail Map. (PDF)

Hope y'all enjoyed! And yeah, if anyone has any ideas about the history or manufacturers of the Sugarbowl/North lifts, let me know!

Do you know when the Pomas were installed? The tenderfoot has to be the weirdest drive station I've seen. Is it a vault drive?

I think that the Sugarbowl might be a Riblet. The carriers resemble the Riblet carriers on Chair 5 at Breck.

Isn't it odd that "politics" is made up of the word "poli" meaning many, and "tics" meaning blood-sucking creatures?

Well, I guess not. I typed my post before I saw yours. The carriers do look different form Chair 5's. I just now noticed some subtle differences.

I know I found the two Poma lifts in Cameron's very detailed lift installation charts, but I can't recall what year it was. They were both installed the same year, I think 1992?

The lift motor for Tenderfoot is tiny, and is mounted overhead.

I remember when the mic-mac t-bar was there before they put the pomas in and the tenderfoot double was a poma lift. I believe there changed them in 91 or 92 just off the top of my head
