I look forward to it with great enthusiasm.

Are you the first one to do a chairlift instead of some kind of a gondi? It seems most people attemt gondis.

Isn't it odd that "politics" is made up of the word "poli" meaning many, and "tics" meaning blood-sucking creatures?

I have a lego double chairlift right now.

Here is a video of it: http://skireportsbc....esktopChair.wmv

I recomend you use wire for the frame of the chair as it tends to be the best. What are you using for rope?

Was that your other lift that you were currently making, or is this bi-cable gondi a brand new lift?

A funitel is a detachable-grip bicable ropeway with two parallel and wide spaced haul ropes.

A funifor is a, I guess you could say, a quadcable ropeway, with two parallel, fixed running (load) ropes and two parallel haul ropes, which pass through load equilization sheaves on the top of the cabin.

Was that a kit because that would take a lot of time to fabricate all of those parts?

nope, i dont use kits, the pullys are from a model shop and all the other stuff ( structure) is just plastruct. they sell in beams so with some designing it was easy..

Very nice, the chairs look a lot like the old Riblet center-poles. What kind of rope did you use and how did you attach the chairs to the rope?

Could you get a few pictures of some of the sheave assemblies? I would like to see those.
