That isn't the same one as the others. If you look at that picture and compare it with an Omega teminal (shown below) you will see that this terminal arches up at a higher angle. That usually means it is a Challenger terminal, or at least if it is a Poma, which it is. Also, the number plate for those carriers are drastically different from the number plates on the Omegas.

Isn't it odd that "politics" is made up of the word "poli" meaning many, and "tics" meaning blood-sucking creatures?

Yes, it appears that Blue Mountain Resort did rename the lift to be named after the Pontiac car. I still would call it by its first name since I have a feeling that its name will change in the near future again!

BTW, those carriers were shipped over from POMA of Europe.

Ah, so that is why they look different than the normal carriers, because the Rocky Mountain SuperChair and other lifts that were installed at that period have the more common number plate.

I wouldn't doubt that the name wouldn't be changed. If it was sponsoring then the name could be changed due to various reasons.
