While those don't look like the Yan carriers we have in the States, they may very well be original. They do appear to have plastic backrests reminiscent of the 'flying couches' we all have in our back yards.

Yan and SkiRail at one point had a relationship I believe out there in Europe, it may be the chairs were a skirail product while the rest of it was Yan. Or the chairs were made by Skirail for Yan, with a slightly modified design.....
