I am looking for used rope tows or short chair lifts and their prices. Anyone out there help me out.

Try looking at the resort boneyard webpage. There is pretty much everything to do with skiresorts for sale on this website. Most lifts and tows are older but with a little fixing up should be able to suit your needs.

I looked there, too expensive for me, maybe I'll get a contract or something to make a sledding lift w/my neighborhood for those awesome hills in the park.
