I co-coach an Adaptive Ski Racing team, so naturally I have no problems with adaptive skiing. I know how skiing makes me feel (hello adrenaline rush!) so i try and help whoever wants that same rush to get that feeling thru skiing/snowboarding! I coach a mono-skiier who is still relatively new at the game, but he has a PASSION for it, just about the same passion I have for skiing! We talk about how much snow fell that night and how we both can't wait to get out in it and rip it up! I feel that we should never limit people because of a disability they might have, just adapt and have fun! Incidentially, the kid I coach in the mono ski RIPS. somedays its hard to keep up with him! Also, we have a blind telemark skiier who flys!l, and is simply amazing to watch out on the hill! www.vermontadaptive.org will help explain a little more! (our team pis is in the left corner of the page)
