Is that Circus Circus in Vegas or the one in Reno?

Don't forgot the Circus Circus Sky Shuttle! a 1980 Doppelmayr (before it was called DCC) I love that little thing, i rode it all day when I was there!

That is awesome! I wonder what the specs are on this? I can't seem to find anything with Google.

Dopplemayr I recall used to have videos of a detachable grip CableLiner shuttle system. The video showed the deceleration tyres and so forth in the station, it was really interesting. I can't find that though, either! :P

The one pictured is the one in Las Vegas, but Reno also has one  As for some specifications, I don't have any official ones, but from being on it I can tell you that it's about a minute long and seats about 20 people. Oh and BTW, in the picture it shows two tram cars, they only use one now, the other one is no where to be found

While looking for more photos, a friend of mine came across this URL:

http://www.subways.net/usa/nv.html

This caught our eye though:

Tahoe

Home of the mysterious subway ski lift. If anyone has any photos of this rare bird, please email me!

What's up with that? What's that in reference to?

Right - I was hoping it would, too! I'm curious if it's an underground OTIS Hovair shuttle, or something of that nature?

I kind of doubt that it's in North America but it could be. A lot of European resorts have them.

Isn't Tahoe in California, though? So... I guess what I'm getin' at, is if they're refering to some kind of unusual construction at Tahoe, does anyone have any idea what it could be in reference to?

It's on the California - Nevada border. Heavenly straddles the line, and you can gamble on the Nevada side but not in California

I'm guessing its the little mini tram that yan built connceting a hotel with the stagecoach lodge. I would have gotten pictures of it in september but my camera battery died just as i got there and I forgot my charger.

Any idea what it's called, so I have something to punch into Google to look for a photo?
