It's basically just a warning device. This forum community is still pretty small and we can keep track of everyone easily and watch what they are doing. But with the bigger forums that ahve a lot of members, people may start to warn other members because of what they are doing and then we will know what they are doing. From there we can take action to either warn that member to tell them to stop what ever they are doing that is making the other members mad or ban them. But just to let you know, it has been used before.

For Example, let's say that you no longer post sentences to reply to topics, rather you just post smiley faces. That will then start to annoy people because you are just wasting space for a perfectly good thread and their time to read/ see what you posted. Then some members might start to warn you. However, for a warn to actually appear, that person will have to fill out a complaint form and then submit it. That will be sent to us, but from them just completing that form, your warning level will go up.

its strange, cause the only user i see with the warn below the avatar is me. i don't really notice or care, but just pointing out to Jesse that i have it.
