I've been to many Resorts, but I don't have a favorite. Each mountain is different and offers something new and exciting every time I ski there.

Well i really dont know. Place like squaw are great, especially for their 2 hour powder-days, then places like sierra are just as good. Its something hard to say. Like cameron, i dont really have a favorite. Each is better in one way or another

At the moment my favorite is Hemlock Valley. they have long cruising runs, slightly smaller crowds, and good snow (currently 225cm).

I'll stay with Red :) What is this crowd thing you guys have been mentioning? I've never run into one... hehehe!! Seriously - a crowded day for us is 1500 people at the entire resort, which is basically enough to keep most of the lifts full, but with no lineups. We do get a little busier on American holidays - being so close to the border and all...

KZ, Did you ever go to Banff/Lake Louise ?
Trust me, the terrain is awesome
Lake Louise has 4200 acres of terrain
Plus you can ride up the Friendly Giant ( The only pure Yan hsq left)

I agree edmontonguy!

Any place in the rockies as it`s own charm...

Lake Louise does have alot of terrain, Sunshine must have the collest views around (Mt Assiniboine) plus all natural snow... Fernie also pretty sweet place. Nice tree skiing and lots of snow.

I just moved out west... what a difference...
