My family and I are working our way up to Seattle for Christmas and skiing on the way. So far we have stopped in for two days at Jackson Hole and today we are skiing Big Sky or Moonlight whatever has more open (due to wind most of the resorts are closed). We may stop by Brigder as well.

Here's the Jackson Tram. It's quite nice that you can get up the entire mountain in one shot. The Jackson Tram is way smaller then the Snowbird Tram in fact the Snowbird tram is about 2 times as large as the Jackson tram.

When I talked with a Lift Mechanic as we rode Thunder he said that Jackson Hole is thinking about completely tearing the tram out and replacing it with a new tram.

Here is Thunder. The Lift Mechanic I talked to said that Thunder was built with high speed lift parts so it could be upgraded easily when Jackson wanted to.

Here is Sublete and as in another topic you were talking about spiral welded towers this lift has those kind of towers. Also this was the first Poma Alpha I've ever seen and I'm really beggining to like it. Appartently there is another Poma Alpha sitting in the weeds that Jackson bought but never installed. Does anyone know anything about this?

Here is Bridger Gondola the first gondola I've ever been on. This lift also has the most breakover towers I've ever seen with sundeflectors as mentioned in another topic.

Glad you got a pic of Eagle's Rest, since we don't have many of Murray-Latta lifts.

One of the lifties joked that it had sped up a bit the day we were there but that is just because appartently before they had so few people they would shut the lifts down after a person got off the lift and turn it back on when they got back down to the bottom again. I'm on dail up right now so I won't post the pics until I'mm back on at least DSL as it would take forever on this computer.
