Hey all,

I had a chance to take some pictures of Beav's new chairs. They actually have garaventa chairs, other than that they seem to be mostly of the doppelmayr design.

I presume that BC chose to go with the Garaventa carriers because they probably had more spare parts for them and that would also mean less inventory.

The lift color on that side of the mountain is pretty much that color too.

Thanks for sharing brad. BTW, where those lifts running at all?

No, it's more of a red. Anyway, looks like they have a lot of snow there

Um, the Birds of Prey lift is not near the Bachelor Gulch area at all. So while the Birds of Prey is that bright red color, the new high-speed quads have the same color as the Bachelor Gulch Express. It seems to me that all the lifts have a different color scheme depending on where they are located at the resort.

For example, the high speed lifts are red near the village, maroon at Bachelor Gulch and then a dark green/brown color at Arrow.

that's totally the case. the towers are painted brown in bachelor gulch also, while towers at BC mtn are grey or galvanized.

they were running the upper lift but it was closed. mechanics were installing signs on the lower chair when i was skiing by.

the lifts should be running on saturday
