After serious smowmaking and a late fall storm, Loveland opens Chair 1 tomorrow morning. A-basin lost the RTOF (race to open first) for the fifth year in a row, but vows to compete again next year. I plan on sampling the product as soon as I get all my home chores done...

sounds good! loveland is where, exactly? i wish we had snowmakers at snoqualmie... it would make things a lot easier, and keep the place open later & start earlier.

Loveland sits on the eastern side of Loveland Pass in Colorado, and straddles the Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70 about sixty miles west of Denver. www.skiloveland.com
Snoqualmie can't make snow because it's too warm and humid up there. I remember Crystal going through that when they first wanted to make snow, but it's just dry enough there.
