Looking out towards Horeshoe Bay Ferry terminal and Bowen Island, the road to Whistler (Sea-to-Sky Highway) runs down by Horeshoe Bay

:kewlpics: Do they even run the Midway chair any more? When I used to ski there they hardly maintained the ramps, so it appeared that it ran intermittently at best. One other fun fact for those of you not familiar with Cypress- the Sky Chair (which one can see from Bellingham at night) has a generator next to the bottom terminal to provide power to the electric motor, because there is no mainline power up there.
BTW and not really on topic- Horseshoe Bay-Nanaimo ferry run  A very senic ride.
