Since I am gonna break my number one rule for the forum, I am gonna do it anyway, and since I own this place, I can over ride my suspension. :) :) :)

Help me get a free iPOD. I got turned on this deal were if I refer 5 people to do this deal and complete one offer (I did the 12 CD for the price of 1 through BMG) and I finished it by buying one cd (16.88 + shiiping), but they had other deals as well, but anyway back to the point...

Out of the 5 referrals I sent out to friends, 3 have signed up so I only need two more people.

But that puts it at how easy this was to get an ipod. And I signed up for the big one that holds 5000 songs. Great deal too.

So anyway, I thought someone may want to help me out and get started on getting their own ipod.

So go here... Get a FREE iPOD and help NWS & SKILIFTS.ORG get one!

Wow! Thank you to everyone who has helped me out. Once all the verifications come through, I should have an iPOD. Yeah!

Yes you do Tyler, but you have to complete your offer and then have 5 of your friends to sign up with freeipods.com and complete their offer.

Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. Where does Apple get their money out of this?

Advertisers are trying a new marketing approach. Instead of having people just seeing their advertisements on television, and by using freeipod.com, it makes the potential buyer/viewer try their programs out and possibly buy it. So the advertisers are buying the ipods and also paying for shipping so you don't have to buy anything. Maybe Jibij (Sam) can shed some more light on about this offer, but here is an article that appeared on Wired Magazine's website, http://www.wired.com...5,64614,00.html

I am convinced and so far I have qualified and I have 8 people under me that have signed up. I dont know where they are at their level of doing a commitment, but it appears to moving along nicely.

I have noticed, that it does work, as I did the 12 for 1 BMG offer and paid for one CD at 22.38 with tax. I finished my deal, when you get 5 people to also do that, that is a total of 134.28. Some people do the deals that are more, some do the ones that are less, and I am sure that freeipods.com is getting the ipods for cost.

So Apple wins, the offers win, and the end use wins (if he gets 5 people to join). So thats what I am waiting on, 2 more people to complete their offers. 3 have already joined and did the offer, in fact one of those people already has 4 of friends joined and only needs one more offer from one of them.

Hey give it a shot, its cheaper than buying a $300 ipod...

I did the InFone offer on there, which goes up and down. It seems the best one around - It doesn't cost anything to join, you get instant credit, and you only get charged if you use the service - you don't ever have to call in and cancel. Plus they say I am getting a $10 amazon gift certificate just for signing up.

Other offers on there that cost no money are the ancestry.com and netscape ISP offers, but you have to call in and cancel within the trial period or else you get a recurring credit card charge.

How does it work...
You sign up for one of these offers and get 5 people to sign it for you and then they just send it to you?
Can you cancel it before the trial period and still get the iPod?
I want one too! :D

It's just another way that advertisers are marketing their product but this way people have to try the advertisers products or something of that relation.

It works by using the pyramid method in which your free ipod is paid for by having at least 5 or more of your friends sign up and complete the offer. So by having your friends sign up and complete the offer, the advertisers reward you by paying for your ipod. But then your friends have to fallow the same process. Make sense?

Tyler, the list of advertisers changes daily too and sometimes some offers arn't around that long so it's good to try something out. But before you complete an offer Tyler since that's relativly easy, you should try to get 5 of your friends sign up before though because if you sign up but not all your friends do, you can't really recieve your free ipod. But once your friends complete their offer, then complete yours and your ipod is on its way to you. But then again, if you did it the way I mentioned above, Bill won't be able to get credit until you do.

On some offers its instantly or can take up to two to three weeks but most only take 2 to 3 days. So if you cancel after you get credit, you can still get your ipod since you did try the advertiser's product(s).

Tyler did sign up under me, so when he completes his deal, then I get a credit for his completion on my deal. Then he needs 5 of his friends to complete and offer. So Tyler, if you do this, you are helping me out. :)

I only have one more person who needs to complete his offer, then I will have my 5. He did a credit card one, but I don't think he got approved, and to get credit you need to be approved.

OK, I'm trying the Blockbuster offer.
Any idea how long it would take for them to get it to you, and can you cancel the offer before it's delivered?

Tyler, if you choose to do the blockbuster thing, you won't be credited until that 2 week trial period is over so you are technically going to be billed anyway. But if you choose to do that, I think you cancel on their website with the account they will give you.

Do something like the coffee if your parents are coffee drinkers. It's a one time buy so you don't have to buy anything else or your parents don't I mean. Or you could buy it for them as a gift.
