Who has taken this run and have you ever been on any run like it......

The top 1/3 of the run is covered in stumps in the summer which makes quite an interesting terrain in the winter..... On a powder day this run can't be beat.

On a new-snow day, Boondoggle which is behind the trees on the skiers-right of Chair-4 at Crystal reminds me of a less steep and much longer Blowdown. Lots of fun little terrain features to play on.

 I second that. I think it's great that there's no defined entry to the run either- just a sign that points you in the general direction and you have to get there on your own.

Yup, it's quite fun. My dad cleared that run (and Felsen next to it) back in '67 when the area was being built, and he mentioned that it was some of the most difficult felling he'd done. But he's glad the skiing turned out all right.

My favorites that I have skied thus far has to be Big Coulior Little Couloir at Big Sky. The entire front side under the lone peak tram is really nice.

Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.

"You could say that a mountain is alot like a woman, once you think you know every inch of her and you're about to dip your skis into some soft, deep powder...Bam, you've got two broken legs, cracked ribs and you pay your $20 just to let her punch your lift ticket all over again"

Blowdown is a blast on a powder day.
One of my most embarresing moments at Hyak was when I was going down Kendall, and saw a small trail through the trees. It wasn't a trail at all. I got lost and it took me a good 10 minutes to get my way out!

Jack, do you ski or board?

Why couldn't they of come up with "Global Cooling"?
