Well who ever thought of the name wasn't too bright. I think it should have been called the Japanese Downhill, to hav a kamikaze type thing.

The Chinese Downhill is, as far as I can tell, the precursor to boarder/skiercross. I think it has to be held on a diamond run, though, for maximum crowd pleasure :devil: The contestants get to push/shove/elbow each other out of the way as they round gates. It seems like more of a combination of hockey and skiing.
