Sarcasim is really hard to convey online. The Broadmoor only had one top to bottom run, one that was 3/4 the length and a really short race run that was served by a handle tow.

BTW I edited the map posted above to include the line for the proposed Gondola.

Alright, thanks. It is sometimes hard to tell where the gondola stations are, so that helped.

Thats not exactly where the stations will be but according to the planning documents that are released to the residents in the surrounding neighborhood it will be about that line. The interesting thing is that the peak 7 station will be on the other side of ski hill road in order to allow condos to be built at the base so they will probably be building a bridge across the road and probably they will also pave the road.

So are you saying that skiers will have to walk a short distance from the Peak 7 gondola station to actually get to the lift?

Yeah the current proposal will have a condo village at the base that you will have to walk through to get to the mountain. Peak 8 will also be the same way but wont be as far of a walk.

Hopefully that means that they'll head over to Peak 8 instead. How close is that station supposed to be to the main lifts?

It really doesnt matter where they start they'll end up everywhere anyway and Breck will still be just as overcrowded. The one at peak 8 will be on the far side of the new proposed condo and hotel development. While it will be closer to the base, you will still have to walk a little way from the gondola to the lifts.

Peak 8 looks to be about 100 yards away while peak 7 looks to be about 200-300 yards away.

Alright, well it won't be any farther away than Union Creek, Base of WP, or the base of Keystone.

Peak 8 will be set up fairly similarly to the base of Keystone but it wont be as far of a walk from the lifts to the gondola.
