Well I think you could just get a pice of wood or something, p[aint it, poke holes through it and put lights through the holes.

Either buy one off of the resorts, or if you care to swim through dumpsaters look to see if they are replacing one of thier boards and rescue it from the dumpster.

Those display boards arn't cheap and there is a lot of wiring and computer stuff that has to be done to make them work right. I'm sure you could built your own cheap one by just using lights and stuff like that. Maybe you could get some two color green and red lights with a 3 way switch to tell whether the run is open or closed. That would probably work.

I guess you could do it manually with some Christmas lights from the drugstore and a wooden board. You could unscrew the bulb if the run is closed

What I would do is I'd put two lights one green and one red. Then on the back of the board you would have all the different lift and run names just like the front of the board. Right next to the name put a three way swictch just like Cameron said so that the swictch went CLOSED(RED) OFF OPEN(GREEN)

Or you could do what Alta does is that they paint a board with a bunch of lift names and run names and there is a hook right by it where you either put a OPEN or CLOSED peice of wood that has a hole in the top so it hangs on the hook.
