Just a friendly reminder for everyone to respect ropes, 'authorised personnel only' signs, barricades, et cetera, when taking photos of lifts. If a lift is barricaded it is for a reason, and you don't want to be inside the closure when the lift starts turning. There will be times (and I'm using Copper for an example; other areas will probably do the same) when a top drive lift will be operated without someone stationed at the bottom, if only for a brief period. That means all of our base area lifts at Copper with the exception of C and C-1. I'm not picking on anyone in particular, just reminding everyone. I have to excercise restraint myself when I visit other areas.

Same with us - our lifts are top drive with no one stationed at the bottom. And even the Red chair, which is a bottom drive, has to be roped off at the top. We did have someone lean on the ramp and pull the stop cord (Red) and when we got to the top he was like, oh you are still working. This was after ducking between two ribbons and a rope with a sign saying "DANGER Crew working on line, lift may start at ANY time."
